The IDF tried to assassinate leader of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement, Sheikh Raed Salah, claimed the head of the Turkish organization IHH, Bulent Yildirim, on Wednesday in an interview with the Qatari newspaper Al-Asharq.
An IDF hit list of 16 activists to be assassinated "fell from the pocket of an Israeli commando during the boarding of the Mavi Marmara," Yildirim stated.

Salah himself also had accused Navy commandos of trying to kill him during the takeover of the Gaza-bound protest ship.
“IDF soldiers tried to kill me. They shot toward someone else they thought was me,” he said before a court hearing.
Yildirim also
defiantly proclaimed that the IHH would continue to organize and send ships to Gaza and that family members of the nine Turks killed in the Mavi Marmara affair have requested to join the next IHH flotilla to the Gaza Strip.
