State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss sent out a copy of his draft report into the 'Harpaz Affair' Sunday afternoon to each of those audited over the matter.
Lindenstrauss's office arranged matters so that each of those audited received the draft report by courier at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Current IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz and his predecessor, Lt.- Gen. (res.) Gabi Ashkenazi, received copies of the report, as did Defense Minister Ehud Barak. The defense minister's bureau chief, Yoni Koren, also received a copy, according to Army Radio.
Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein was sent a copy as well.
The State Comptroller instructed each of the recipients of the draft report that they must file their response to him within a month.
The draft reportedly spans some 200 pages. Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yaakov Orr, who heads the State Comptroller's Office's military audits division compiled the report and will continue working on it until it is finalized.
The extensive probe into the affair took 14 months to complete. To produce the draft report, Lindenstrauss's staff interviewed around 300 witnesses, most of whom were military commanders and security officials, a spokesman for Lindenstrauss said, and examined thousands of documents and recordings, including calls between Boaz Harpaz and those audited in the probe.
The spokesman added that the state comptroller had treated all claims made by the various parties to the case in an equal manner, and conducted in-depth investigations into each.
Lindenstrauss is expected to publish the final report before he ends his term as State Comptroller on July 3.
