Petah Tikva man killed in suspected underworld hit

Local 50-year-old man is killed by explosive devise on motorcycle; victim is "known to police."

A man was killed in a suspected underworld hit in Petah Tikva on Sunday night, Petah Tikva police reported.
According to police, the victim, a local 50-year-old man, was walking next to a motorcycle on Kehilat Chicago street in the city when it exploded. They added that the man is known to police, but would not say more about his identity.
ZAKA paramedic Moti Bukzin said that he heard the blast from his house and went out to the site where he found the man seriously wounded across his body. He also reported seeing a trail of blood leading into an adjacent building and that the windows of several nearby cars were blown out by the blast.
After the explosion the man was taken to The Rabin Medical Center - Beilinson Campus, where he later died from his wound.
