Court indicts man for video threatening Deputy AG Nitzan

Ori Bar-Am was indicted with incitement to murder and racism after creating a video calling for the murder of Shai Nitzan.

The Kfar Saba Magistrate’s Court indicted a Ra’anana resident on Sunday on charges of incitement to murder or terrorism, incitement to racism, destruction of evidence and obstruction of justice, for allegedly posting a video online calling for the murder of Deputy State Attorney Shai Nitzan earlier this month.

Besides the threats against Nitzan, the video also included subtitles reading “Death to the leftists!” and “Death to the Arabs!”
According to the indictment, Bar-Am sent the video to 31 e-mails through the website lovesite.co.il, which allows for the anonymous posting of videos in its online forum. The posting came with the subject tag: “Please help distribute this important video.”
The indictment says Bar-Am posted the video on a number of additional sites, and later removed all traces of the video from his computer, taking steps to cover his tracks and remove evidence linking him to the online clip.
