One injured by IDF fire during clashes at Bil'in protest

Military officials say demonstrations more violent than usual; Border Police officer injured after stone thrown at his face.

IDF soldiers on Friday used live ammunition as security forces clashed with Palestinian and left-wing demonstrators who were protesting against the separation fence in Bil'in. As a result, a demonstrator was injured during the weekly protest.
The IDF confirmed that live fire was used, while military officials said Friday's demonstration was unusually violent.

A Border Police officer was lightly wounded by stones that were thrown at his face by the demonstrators.
The officer was treated at the scene and later taken to Beilinson Hospital.
