21 hurt after bus and truck collide

21 people were lightly injured on Monday in a collision between a bus and a
truck on Route 4 near the Geha Interchange.
Hatzalah volunteer medics
from Bnei Brak and Givat Shmuel were on the scene treating the injured, which
included children. The truck driver was lightly-to-moderately injured.

Hatzalah spokesperson said that following the accident, the bus caught on fire
but the medics succeeded in dousing the flames,with the help of civilian
volunteers.
Also on Monday, a sevenyear- old was struck by a bus in Petah
Tikva.
Magen David Adom arrived at the scene, and the boy was taken to
Schneider Children’s Medical Center at the Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus
in Petah Tikva. He was in serious condition.
The incident is still under
investigation.
