Israeli hackers: We'll knock down Arab sites daily

Group that goes by name "IDF Team" tells 'Post' they will only strike if Israeli sites are attacked again.

Israeli hackers who brought down two major Arab financial websites this week said they would continue the online attacks if Arab hackers maintain their internet offensive on Israel.
The hackers, who call themselves the “IDF Team,” told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday that they were waiting to see whether Arab hackers would strike again, and in the interim they have prepared a list of sensitive Arab websites as future targets.

These targets could include websites in the Arab world that house government portals, airlines, stock markets and banks, the IDF Team told the Post.
“We will not attack without a reason. We are waiting to see if there are more attacks on Israel,” one member of the team said.
The Israeli hackers launched an assault on the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency and the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange on Tuesday, in retaliation for a distributed denial of service attack on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and El Al on Monday.
“Our next steps will be taken slowly...the message we wish to pass [along] is that we are not frightened to retaliate and we will not be frightened of continuing with the attacks,” the team member said.
The tit-for-tat cyber war looks as if it could escalate in the coming days. 0xOmar, an Arab hacker who claims to be Saudi and who initiated the web attacks on Israel, called on other Arab hackers to join his anti-Israel campaign.
Earlier this week, 0xOmar told the Post that attacks on Israeli websites would only stop if the Israeli government apologized for what he described as a “genocide in Palestine.”
