'Jengo' unchained at Ramat Gan Safari

Zoological center welcomes giraffe from Frankfurt as newest member of the pack.

An 18-month-old giraffe named Jengo arrived to to the Ramat Gan Safari on Thursday afternoon from a zoo in Frankfurt, Germany, and was well received by the zoo's other giraffes – who took to licking and stroking the youngster in excitement, according to the safari.
Jengo traveled in a special transfer box on an El Al cargo plane from Liege Airport in Belgium, accompanied all the way by Flying Cargo International Transportation Ltd., the safari said.
