Beit Shemesh parents rally for unity

1500 national religious residents call for city to unite behind the new girls' school.

Following violence and religious tensions surrounding a new national religious girls’ middle school in Beit Shemesh, nearly 1,500 national religious residents rallied on Sunday evening to call on the Jews of their city to unite in peace.
One of the organizers of the rally, Dov Lipman, said that Rosh Hashana is the perfect time for different people to come together.
Parents at the rally said that while the violence has stopped, verbal attacks on the girls when they leave school, continues.
