A 50-year-old resident of Elkana was mortally wounded by gunfire in the settlement of Solam in the Jezreel Valley, Israeli media reported Saturday evening. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police officers who arrived at the scene have begun investigating the incident, which appears to be crime-related.
