Shavuot is already around the corner, bringing with it new launches aimed directly at dairy-based cooking, hosting, and family meals: Italian cheeses, special pastas, new desserts, and quick solutions for the home kitchen. From Gad’s new stracciatella to Barilla’s limited-edition pastas – these are the new products that will take center stage on this year’s holiday table.
Gad Dairy launches for Shavuot: First-ever stracciatella in supermarkets and truffle burrata
Ahead of Shavuot, Gad Dairy is expanding its Italian cheese portfolio with a new series of launches, led by one product that is already generating great curiosity among food lovers: Stracciatella 24%, launching for the first time in Israel’s retail market.
Stracciatella – strands of fresh mozzarella wrapped in cream – is considered one of the cheeses most closely associated with contemporary Italian cuisine, and will now also arrive on supermarket shelves. Gad suggests using it alongside focaccia, in salads, pastas, pizzas, and baked goods, thanks to its creamy texture and delicate milky flavor.
Alongside the stracciatella, the dairy is also launching a special holiday edition of Burrata Truffle 24%, filled with rich truffle cream, joining the brand’s burrata line.
Additional new launches include:
Mediterranean feta sauce from the Gad & Ready series
Kashkaval slices for baking and toast
Goat gouda slices for cheese platters
Greek yogurt tzatziki 10% limited edition
Greek yogurt 6.5% enriched with protein
Gad explains that this new launch series is designed to respond to changing Israeli consumer cooking and hosting habits, with an emphasis on combining modern culinary trends, convenience, and rich flavors.
