If you have been missing Roshfeld, you will catch him this month in a slightly different version, in a Japanese atmosphere with a huge crystal dragon towering above him. This is not the beginning of a fantasy, but a surprising collaboration between the talented chef Yonatan Roshfeld and the excellent Asian restaurant from Rothschild – ZO.
The surprising collaboration will take place on Tuesday evenings only, when Roshfeld will take over the kitchen of ZO and cook Japanese-inspired dishes, with his unique signature touch. Under his hands and his fondness for spicy food, the Japanese dishes will receive a fire-breathing vibe, just like the dragon decorating the ceiling, and an eye-catching appearance that characterizes the chef.
On Roshfeld's menu, which will be served instead of the venue's regular menu, you will find intriguing dishes that travel between a variety of Asian cuisines, with a delicious greeting from China, aromas from India, open-fire cooking, and plenty of fresh fish, seafood, and Sichuan spiciness that blows you away.
Among the dishes: Chopped hamachi on Indian cucumber lassi and betel leaves (NIS 110); sweet-spicy grilled corn with cashew butter, togarashi, and honey (NIS 48); dragon ball with a sea urchin appearance made of tiger shrimp, crispy lotus root, and homemade chili sauce (NIS 84), and a dish that is all about Roshfeldian care and precision – chicken and shiitake mushroom wonton in a steaming bowl of deep-flavored soup (NIS 68).
In the main courses section, you will find slow-cooked Wagyu short rib in a 5-spice blend, served inside steamed rice paper (NIS 168); black cod in miso and sake sauce with yellow rice (NIS 188), and steamed sea bass fillet with aromatic leaves, nuts, and garlic caramel (NIS 190).
Every Tuesday, Roshfeld will change the menu according to his desire and fresh ingredients, and one thing is certain – it will be spicy and exciting. Reserve your places because on June 9th it comes to an end.
