Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Operation Roaring Lion could bring about a "massive shift in Israel's international standing" and in the Mideast during a visit to Israel’s National Health Operations Center on Monday.

"Our aspiration is to enable the Iranian people to cast off the yoke of tyranny; ultimately, it is up to them. But there is no doubt that through the actions taken so far, we are breaking their bones, and we are still active."

He continued, "If we succeed together with the Iranian people, we will bring about a permanent end to the extent that such things exist in the lives of nations. We will bring about change, and we are already bringing about a massive shift in Israel's international standing. "

"The defensive side is, first and foremost, the will of the people and the strength of the citizens. The strength of the citizens is also the strength of those who care for them, and that is you. The public's faith that they are being cared for is very high, and that is thanks to you," The prime minister said.

Netanyahu visited the center with Health Minister Haim Katz as part of Operation Roaring Lion, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office.

During the visit, Netanyahu received a briefing from Health Ministry Director-General Moshe Bar Siman Tov on the healthcare system’s operations during the ongoing campaign.

Officials presented the command center's work, which manages hospital activity in real time, monitors the availability of medical teams, and tracks equipment and medication stockpiles in coordination with security and emergency services.

The briefing also covered the preparedness of hospitals operating in protected spaces and efforts to expand casualty intake capacity while maintaining continuity of care through hospitals and health funds.

Hospitals, emergency coordination, and civilian support

The Health Ministry also reviewed measures to protect the civilian home front, including medical and psychological assistance for victims, support for evacuees, and public health services provided during the fighting. The presentation emphasized the system’s effort to preserve routine treatment as much as possible under wartime conditions.

Netanyahu said the campaign included both offensive and defensive elements, and argued that civilian resilience was central to Israel’s defense posture. He praised healthcare workers for strengthening public confidence, saying the trust citizens place in those treating them was a significant part of the national effort.
