The High Court of Justice on Thursday instructed the state to examine and report back within 60 days about methods to change composition of the committee for appointing city rabbis, which currently comprises 75% haredi representatives.

Neemanei Torah VeAvodah filed the petition against what they say is discrimination towards the broader population in the appointment of city rabbis.
