Iran does not have the capability to create a nuclear weapon at this point, due
to technological difficulties it has recently been facing, Deputy Prime Minister
Moshe Ya’alon told Israel Radio on Wednesday morning.
Ya’alon, who is
also strategic affairs minister, estimated that Teheran would be capable of
creating a nuclear bomb within three years.

In addition, Ya’alon
mentioned that Jordan and Egypt, along with Israel, fear a Hamas takeover in the
West Bank.
According to the strategic affairs minister, the US and Europe
are straying away from the idea of unilaterally establishing a Palestinian
state.
Addressing the recent escalation in violence along the Gaza Strip,
Ya’alon said he did not think a large-scale conflict would erupt in the area,
since Hamas had no interest in damaging its security.
