Lapid at Ariel vows not to give away settlement blocks

Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid vowed not to give away settlement blocks, as he delivered a major foreign policy speech at Ariel University on Tuesday night.

Lapid slammed both the Left and Right over their handling of the peace process. He stated that his party would not build new settlements, but would not agree to settlement freezes.

"The prime minister [Binyamin Netanyahu] cannot tell us the Palestinian Authority isn't a partner," he continued. "They are all we have."

"We can't make peace with Norway, so we must make peace with the Palestinians," Lapid said, echoing assassinated prime minister Yitzak Rabin a week ahead of the anniversary of his death.
