A 78-year-old man died on Wednesday morning when he lost control of his car in the capital’s Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood.

The man was driving near the Uzi Narkis Bridge at around 6:30 a.m., police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.

When medics arrived, the car was flipped over and the victim had a severe head injury, Magen David Adom spokesman Zaki Heler said.

He died on the way to Hadassah University Medical Center on Mount Scopus. Rosenfeld said the crash was not due to road conditions.
