Mango, a 19-year-old Syrian brown bear suffers from a slipped disk, impairing his mobility and causing pain.
A Syrian brown bear named Mango had back surgery at the Ramat Gant Safari on Wednesday.

Mango, a 19-year-old Syrian brown bear suffers from a slipped disk, impairing his mobility and causing pain.

He underwent the complicated and unprecedented surgery on his spine in the hope of improving his quality of life, a Ramat Gan Safari spokesperson said.
