Netanyahu to IDF: Respond with force to Hamas attacks
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon instructed the IDF Friday morning to respond forcefully against renewed Hamas rocket fire, senior diplomatic officials said.

The officials said that Jerusalem's negotiating team in Cairo returned to Israel at 7:00 a.m., an hour before the end of the 72-hour cease fire when Hamas renewed its rocket attacks.

Israel has stated repeatedly that it will not negotiate terms of a longer-term cease fire under rocket attack.
