Around 34 wounded Palestinians passed through the Erez crossing on Thursday on their way to Turkey where they will receive medical treatment, Palestinian officials said.

The 34 Palestinians were injured in the seven-week long operation in Gaza. As they passed through the Erez crossing from Gaza, the injured were met by a series of ambulances.

The ambulances transported the wounded to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, where a Turkish Air Force aircraft waited for them on the tarmac.
