US military death toll in Iraq reaches 100 in Oct.

A US Marine was killed in Iraq's western Anbar province, the military reported Monday, raising the October death toll to 100 and making it the deadliest month for US troops since January 2005.
The Marine, assigned to Regimental Combat Team 5, died from injuries sustained during combat on Sunday, the military said.
