Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided medical assistance at the scene.

The paramedics attempted to resuscitate the mother, Yamama Grifat, and her daughter, Jazelle, but were forced to confirm their deaths on site.

An MDA helicopter was on route to the scene to transport the injured victims to a medical facility.

Speaking with Channel 10 news, a local traffic police officer said the car was hit when it pulled out of a gas station into a lane of oncoming traffic.

"All the inhabitants of the vehicle were hit very hard," said Chief Superintendent Yossi Hatuka. "Two of them were killed."
