The Justice Ministry’s Police Investigation Department filed an indictment in the Kfar Saba Magistrate’s Court on Monday, charging a police officer with indecently exposing himself to three different women.

According to the indictment, the alleged acts took place while the defendant, Shay Korn, served as an officer in the Israel Police.

The first charge alleges that Korn exposed himself while working in the first complainant’s garden in August 2011.

Allegedly, Korn complained of a headache, and when the complainant brought him a painkiller and invited him to sit and rest on a step, he sat in such a way that he exposed himself to the complainant without her consent.

When the complainant looked away in embarrassment, Korn covered himself with a waist bag he was wearing, the indictment said.

The second charge alleges that Korn exposed himself to a female supermarket checkout assistant in December 2011.

As Korn went to pay at the supermarket, he moved the waist bag he was wearing so that he exposed himself to the checkout assistant, without her consent.

According to the third charge on the indictment, some days later Korn exposed himself again to another checkout assistant in the supermarket.

Korn is charged under the Penal Code with three counts of committing an indecent act in public, which carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison.
