Police suspect murder-suicide in Kiryat Arba

Man and woman found shot to death in apartment; police believe man shot his ex-wife, and then killed himself.

A man and woman were found dead Thursday overnight in an apartment in Kiryat Arba, in what police believe is a murder-suicide.
Police suspect that the man entered the apartment, shot his ex-wife to death, and then killed himself.

Police were alerted to the situation shortly before 4:00 a.m. and headed to the apartment to begin investigations.
Earlier this week, police opened an investigation into a suspected murder-suicide, after a woman and her ex-husband died of gunshot wounds in Kiryat Motzkin late Saturday night.
Paramedics and police officers found Aviva Jimbar, 45, shot to death in her home, and her ex-husband Moshe Jimbar, 48, with what is believed to have been a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Moshe Jimbar was rushed to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, where he later died.
The divorced couple leave behind four children, between the ages of 10 and 21.
