Future villain of new DCEU film may be Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman
Will we see a darker side of the beloved heroine?

According to Forbes, we are about to see a whole lot of Israeli actress Gal Gadot. She will reprise her role as Aphrodite’s Agent in the upcoming Justice League film as well as her own sequel. Gal Gadot is also expected to appear in the recently announced superhero film Flashpoint based on the DC comic book.Those familiar with the Flashpoint comic know that Wonder Woman was the villain of the story. If the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) plans to use plot points and not just the title for the stand alone Flashfilm, then the plot will include the backdrop of a global war. According to the comic book, Aquaman will lead the Atlantean army against Wonder Woman’s Amazonians and neither side will have any consideration for the innocent land dwellers. The conflict in the story is needless and based around a personal vendetta.The Flashpoint film will reportedly be released in 2020, only three years after the introduction to Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman from the film is a character that, so far, has been motivated by the goodness in her to protect innocents and alleviate the burden of war.She is a heroine who stood up against an army in order to rescue the civilians caught behind enemy lines, a character who believes in love, and yet in three short years, the public may be introduced to a Wonder Woman who embodies none of the altruism that made her so popular.The DCEU includes Wonder Woman, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad. Of all these films, only Wonder Woman was a critical success. All the films were financial successes, but Wonder Woman is the only film that has a certified fresh rating on the website Rotten Tomatoes of 92%.
