ADL congratulates Senate on new Iran bill

The Anti-Defamation League on Thursday congratulated the Senate on The Nuclear Weapon Free Iran Act, with hopes that it would motivate Iranian powers to give up its nuclear weapons program.
If Iran violates the current interim agreement, sanctions are now in place that could immediately be triggered.
Barry Curtiss-Lusher, ADL National Chair, and Abraham Foxman, ADL National Director said in a statement that the "American strategy" makes clear to Iran  "the severe economic price it will pay," if it fails to cooperate.
They also said that the new bill "will sustain the utmost pressure on a regime that poses a threat to America and our closest allies in the Middle East and offer a greater chance of achieving success through diplomacy."
