A 37-year-old resident of Tel Aviv was arrested on suspicion of breaking into and stealing from an apartment that had been damaged in an Iranian missile strike, the Israel Police stated on Thursday.

The suspect was spotted by police on Wednesday morning attempting to sell the stolen items and was arrested on the spot.

When searching his belongings, police found several pieces of jewelry, as well as a box of coffee capsules with the apartment owner’s name.

Following his arrest, investigators began to suspect that the man may have been involved in a robbery at the club “Shalvata” in Tel Aviv before Operation Roaring Lion began.

Crime in Israel continues amid Iran war

Last week, the daughter of a terrorist released in a hostage-terrorist exchange during the Israel-Hamas war was arrested for online incitement to terrorism.

The woman, a resident of the Palestinian village of Shiukh, was arrested by fighters from the unit “Yehuda Arrow” in the Etzion sector.

According to the police, her activity had been monitored by the IDF for a while in the lead-up to her arrest.

Additionally, a Lod resident was arrested this week on suspicion of involvement in an event where fireworks were fired at a police vehicle.
