The daughter of a terrorist released in a hostage-terrorist exchange during the Israel-Hamas war has been arrested for online incitement to terrorism, the Israel Police stated on Friday.
The woman is a resident of the Palestinian village of Shiukh and was arrested by fighters from the unit “Yehuda Arrow” in the Etzion sector.
According to the police, her activity had been monitored by the IDF for a while in the lead-up to her arrest.
The suspect was found to identify with Hamas, and incited against Israel, as well as encouraging enemy action during the war, including calls to harm Israelis.
The suspect was taken in for further questioning at the Etzion police station.
Man arrested for shooting fireworks at police vehicle
Additionally, a Lod resident was arrested this week on suspicion of involvement in an event where fireworks were fired at a police vehicle.
On Thursday Evening, Central District Border Police fighters located and arrested the man, who was taken in for further questioning.
