Haymanot Kasau,10, was abducted from the Safed Absorption Center in late February 2024. Since then, her family has voraciously advocated for her release.

"At every meeting, the police say it’s 'confidential.' What is the secret they’re not sharing? The work is not being done," said Tesfai Kasau Meshesha, Haymanot's father.

Known for performing in Jerusalem's Zion Square, nine days have passed since her disappearance as of Saturday, with no clues as to her whereabouts.

Kasau was last seen on February 25, 2024, on the streets of Safed near the immigration absorption center where she lived. All traces of her since have gone cold.

Protesters also called on the police to form a special investigative team to search for the missing girl.

MKs from across the political spectrum weighed in to support the call despite Police claims to have exhausted all possibilities.

"There is intelligence information that our family is passing on to the police, but they are checking it after a significant delay," Kasau's father said.
