Israel Always: Faith or Consequences

Israel must continue to pursue a course that will not necessarily be embraced by the international community.

Any attempt by the world to solve the problem between the Jews and radical Islam is futile. There can never, ever be an answer to peace designed by man. No nationality on the face of the earth can lay claim to the land of Israel simply because it belongs to God Almighty and God Almighty, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, gave it to the Jewish people. No prophet nor prophetess, preacher or evangelist or any learned theologian can overrule that eternal covenant. It has been proven without a shadow of a doubt throughout the ages that any country, man or organization that has come against this Holy Land and her people has not survived. There is only one word and that is the Word of the Living, Holy, Almighty God and that Word will prevail when everything else has failed. Despite many generations attempting to change that Word, by people who exalt themselves into godly positions, the truth can be verbally altered by man but cannot change the reality of the present, past or future. Israel need not put her fate in the hands of the international community. The calloused attitude of the United Nations and most of Europe and the Middle East will not prevail against the spiritual or physical realms. God laughs at the world in their attempts to alter the ownership of Israel. World leaders repeatedly attempt to capture the hearts of barbarians bent on altering God's Word and claiming ownership of a land that does not belong to them. Israel must continue to pursue a course that will not necessarily be embraced by the international community which has been reticent to face the real culprit behind terrorism which is unquestionably radical Islam. To the detriment of Israel, the world has chosen to turn a deaf ear to the continued calls from terrorist organizations who openly and publicly declare that their goal is to annihilate Israel from off the face of the earth. A lack of resolve to answer with force against the growing evil of terrorism will undoubtedly be viewed as an encouragement to terrorists to continue their uncivilized aggression against a civilized nation. Until recently the international community has been successful in lulling Israel into a slumber believing that she has to give land for peace. Israel still carries the flag of the Almighty God and will one day plant it on the land that will welcome the Messiah. If Israel fails to adhere to God's Word she will become another America bogged in another Vietnam having to retreat in shame as a result of a lack of total commitment to eradicate the enemy. Ehud Olmert, the man God has placed in office to lead His people can become another David? or another Saul. His obedience to the Word of God to stand boldly against the enemy will determine the fate of the Jewish people for years to come. Just as a shepherd boy answered the call of God to go against Goliath, let us pray that Ehud Olmert will use the tools of war to eliminate an evil cancer that is growing not only in the Middle East but throughout the world. Terrorism can only be eradicated. It cannot be appeased. For the moment, God has put the power of His kingdom into the hands of Ehud Olmert to spark a tsunami of support from the millions of Bible believing Christians around the world to stand with Israel. These Bible believing Christians are totally committed to the preservation of Israel and her people. Their prayer is that Israel will pursue a course of strength rather than weakness, and not negotiate away land with a people whose end goal is not peace but rather the destruction of Israel and her people. By seeking to please the international community, Israel has sadly placed herself in a vulnerable position and suffered much unnecessary loss and tragedy. While the international community as a whole has been oblivious to this suffering, it has been recognized by many, especially Israel's brothers and sisters in the Evangelical community who have been undergirding and supporting Israel hrough prayer and economic assistance. Reality dictates that Israel must move forward and once again put their trust in the Almighty God who, since Israel became a nation in 1948, has repeatedly showered them with blessings when the people have called upon His Name. Israel can only survive through faith in the Almighty and a total commitment to eradicate the evil of terrorism. It is unrealistic to believe that any good can come from the by-product of evil - terrorism. Only with a total commitment, will Israel emerge the victor.
