Finance minister calls to "limit" those who oppose Israel's existence.

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said Sunday morning that Israel should revoke the citizenship of those who oppose Israel’s existence.The comments came a day after Raed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement's northern branch, called Israeli construction in Jerusalem “the new nakba [catastrophe] of the Palestinians” at “Nakba Day” demonstrations.“Salah’s words cross the line of good taste,” Steinitz said. “It is intolerable and unforgivable that in the State of Israel there are Arabs, and also a small group of Jews, that oppose Israel’s existence and mourn its establishment.“In my opinion, we have to find a way to limit these people, and maybe even revoke their citizenship,” the finance minister said. “Whoever opposes the State of Israel’s existence, whoever cries over its establishment, is raising a question mark as to if he can be a citizen in this state.”
