A 16-year-old boy in Yitzhar was arrested after throwing rocks at a police car in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon told Israel Radio Wednesday that he doesn't know of a single MK who backs the actions of the settlers against security forces, adding that violence against them only hurts the settlements.
This latest incident followed a succession of others in the area in recent days.
A group of 50 to 60 settlers from Yitzhar raided an army post and destroyed generators, army equipment, heaters, and diesel fuel tanks, as six soldiers who manned the position failed to stop them on Tuesday.
The attack came after Border Police razed four illegally built structures in the settlement. Six Border Policemen were injured during the operation after settlers threw rocks at them. Two were transferred to local hospitals for medical attention. No arrests were made.
Hundreds of settlers rioted in protest of the Border Police's destruction of their buildings. Security sources said the violence they encountered was extreme, adding that it included rock throwing, the burning of tires, and road blockages. Security forces dispersed the rioters with non-lethal crowd control measures.
The razing of the structures took place hours after vandals targeted an IDF jeep for the second time in two days in Yitzhar on Monday. The jeep's tires were slashed in what security forces suspect was a far-right attack.
