December promises to bring colder weather, and as people move indoors, so will their entertainment. The Daniel hotel at the Dead Sea is hosting a weekend of song, poetry and literature from December 18 through 20, and the Mitzpe Hayamim spa in Rosh Pina is offering a month of interactive meetings with writers.
Corinne Alal will perform at the Dead Sea event, alongside poet Agi Mishol, while author Eshkol Nevo and actor Idan Alterman will offer a workshop on the writing process. The weekend runs NIS 1,000 per couple per night (09-952-0808).
In Rosh Pina, guests at the health spa will be let in on the secrets of creative writing in an intimate and relaxed setting. Visiting authors include Salem Jubran, Ram Oren, Sami Michael and Gabi Nitzan. Spa guests get in for free, and visitors can participate for NIS 50 per session.
