The Yardbirds, one of the seminal British Invasion bands of the 1960s, at various times included illustrious guitarists Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck among its ranks. Of course, none of those legends are with the current incarnation of the band, but original drummer Jim McCarty and rhythm guitarist/bassist Chris Dreja are, so there is justification for calling the group The Yardbirds.
