tells the story of Gioza, one of the female 'White Torture' prison
guards, who falls into an obsessive love with Nick, the prisoner under
her supervision, without him knowing of her existence. Although inspired
by the Iranian idea of the 'White Torture', the events and characters
depicted in the film are purely fictitious.
Emilio Shankar thanked those who helped him in making the film and said
that he "hopes that the honor and reception that the film won
worldwide will help him forever."
