An artistic tribute to beloved lyricist and media personality Ehud Manor opens Tuesday at the Holon Mediatheque, where 70 works inspired by Manor songs will remain on display through October 23. Professional and amateur artists contributing to the show include sculptor David Gerstein and Aliza Olmert, wife of the prime minister. Manor, who died in April 2005 at age 64, wrote a number of Israeli classics during his prolific career, and past musical collaborators in attendance at Tuesday's opening will include Ohad Hitman and Corinne Alal. Works done in water color, pencil and with less conventional media including chocolate were selected for the exhibition, with Israeli Design Center Manager Amnon Zilber serving as one of the show's two curators.
