Models of 'IcExcellence' Author Etgar Keret and filmmakers David Ofek and Tomer Heiman are the newest chosen artists by the IcExcellence Foundation. IcExcellence's aim is to advance Israel's artistic achievements domestically and internationally. The foundation will help Ofek, Heiman and Keret, as it does its other artists, with a series of meetings, seminars and business-coaching sessions to further advance their career skills and opportunities. The Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation (IcExcellence) says its vision is to have "a critical mass of Israeli artists identified with professional excellence. Their success in the world's best museums and galleries, the greatest concert halls, and the front pages of the media will inspire Israel national pride, identity, and international reputation." Since its inception four years ago, the foundation has supported 30 artists in 11 fields. IcExcellence was founded by and is directed by Rachel Marani. Other chosen artists this year include actor Itay Tiran, choreographer/dancer Emanuel Gat, and Lior Elmalich, singer of Piyutim.
