British music icon Boy George will be taking his talents to Israel's south next month.

The lead singer of the 1980s pop group Culture Club was set to play a set at the annual Temptation party on Dekel Beach which kicks off Eilat's gay pride festival.

The Eilat gay pride festival opens pride events in Israel on May 16.


Boy George was set to perform a set alongside DJ Mark Vedo.

The Culture Club lead man played in Israel at the height of his fame in 1985, when he performed to a crowd of screaming fans at Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park.
