And the hits just keep on coming. A slew of musical talent is going to converge on Tel Aviv's Exhibition Grounds on August 19-20 for Non-Stop Musix, a two-day festival sponsored by Pelephone. Leading the bill are punky British rockers the Kaiser Chiefs, off the heels of their 2008, Mark Ronson-produced Off With Their Heads. While the Chiefs may be the musical highlight, the big attraction will undoubtedly be the kitschy, theatrical pop sensation of Lady Gaga. With hits "Just Dance" and "Poker Face," the Freddy Mercury-inspired act will attract the younger generation to the festival. Rounding out the international attractions are Canadian punk popsters Simple Plan, who played in Tel Aviv last year, and Latin electronic music DJ Luciano. Among the local talent appearing at the festival will be Aviv Geffen, Hadag Nahash, Monica Sex, The Yehudim, and Synergia. Tickets are on sale at the Hadran ticket agency.
