Following Leonard Cohen's example, another legendary Canadian singer-songwriter has announced a gig in Israel. Paul Anka will arrive here this fall for his first performance in the country. Anka began his career in the '50s and '60s as a teen idol with hits like Diana. He also penned the lyrics for the Frank Sinatra hit "My Way." He continued with big-band style music and even recorded an album of rock covers in 2005. Anka will play Tel Aviv's Nokia Arena on November 19 at 8:30 p.m.
