Rishon Lezion offers free concert

The end-of-summer concert will feature vocalists Ira Bertman, Limor Shapira and Yotam Cohen, along with the Tel Aviv Philharmonic Choir.

The city of Rishon Lezion is hosting a free performance by the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon Lezion at the city's amphitheater on September 5 at 9 p.m. The end-of-summer concert will feature vocalists Ira Bertman, Limor Shapira and Yotam Cohen, along with the Tel Aviv Philharmonic Choir. They will perform popular Neapolitan numbers like "O Sole Mio" and "Funiculi, Funicula" along with opera excerpts from La boheme, Turandot and La traviata, among others, plus songs from musicals like Cats and My Fair Lady. Of course, there will be some Israeli offerings, too.
