First of all, I do not know if MK Tibi is at all ill.  And I surely do not know if he has cancer.

He has, however, spoken of cancer and here''s that cancer:

"Settlements are a cancer spreading all over Palestinian land, and cancer should be treated and eradicated," he said. "I am talking about a peaceful and non-violent way by not buying or selling or dealing in these products from these settlements."

What bothers me about Tibi''s "cancer" is not so much that he uses the verb ''eradicated'' in a political context (even while modifying it) nor that he doesn''t like Jews living in their national home although that in itself is enough to think him a viral opponent.  It isn''t even the fact that he might be suffering from a schizophrenic personality complex in that he doesn''t know where his loyalty lies.

No.  And furthermore, it isn''t even that "cancer" is a favorite epithet of Arabs:

Arafat in 2004 accused Israel of causing cancer amongst Arabs or that he is echoing Iranian General Mohammed Ali Jaafari who in 2008 described Israel as "cancerus bacterium" which would soon be destroyed by "the radiation of Hizb''allah''s fighters"or that due to Israel''s better-established oncology facilities, hospitals, like Hadassah, treat and empower Arab cancer-suffering children from beyond the Jerusalem area, including some who come from the Palestinian Authority (although one woman''s death from cancer who was treated in Israel and then died in London was still nevertheless blamed for he death.

What annoys me is that Tibi knows well that he gets furious when Jews call Arabs or Arab terrorists as a "cancer." in Israel''s midst

So, what''s bad for the goose is okay for the gander (and pardon me dear bird-lovers for that fowl play)?  He can complain about a double standard but employ the same for his own benefit?

So why should he, a MK, a doctor, a smart man, get himself involved in this muck and filth?

Why should he get himself so dirty?

How he must hate.
