And what about the other Arab who lied at the UN?

Many are upset at the lies contained in Mahmoud Abbas' speech at the UN.
But what about another Arab leader, one who is more that a "peace partner", one with whose country Israel actually signed a full peace treaty?
These are the words of King Abdullah II at the Summit on Threats to International Peace and Security caused by Terrorist Acts spoken before United Nations Security Council, New York, US on 24 September 2014

Jordan has taken a lead in interfaith initiatives. We are working now on introducing a Security Council resolution that will address the systematic targeting of religious communities.

Did those interfaith initiatives include Jewish religious aspects as relating to the Temple Mount?  Sensitizing the Jordanian Waqf officials to Jewish rights there?
Is the Jordanian Waqf not targeting the Jews vis-a-vis the Temple Mount?
And let us remember this from last December:

A Jordanian official said Israel asked Jordan this month to consider allowing a limited amount of Jews to pray in a small area at the site, according to a Jordanian official. The Israeli request was rebuffed, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was discussing a classified diplomatic matter. The Jordanian official said King Abdullah II has asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu several times, most recently two weeks ago, to prevent Jewish worship at the compound, warning that such a move would provoke Muslims and rekindle anti-Israel sentiment around the Muslim world.Israeli officials declined to comment on those talks.

Does not Article 9 of the Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty not obligate the King and his kingdom

"to provide freedom of access to places of religious and historical significance...to promote interfaith relations among the three monotheistic religions, with the aim of working towards religious understanding, moral commitment, freedom of religious worship, and tolerance and peace."

He also had this to say at the Plenary Session of the 69th United Nations General Assembly in New York on 24 September 2014:

Jordan strongly opposes threats to Jerusalem’s Arab Muslim and Christian identity. As Hashemite custodian of Jerusalem’s Muslim and Christian Holy Sites, I will continue to oppose any violation of Al Aqsa Mosque’s sanctity.

The Jordanian monarch is not be truthful about his own actions and positions.
I hope our Prime Minister will deal with this, too, as in any case, Abbas also related to the matter

The occupation’s campaign specifically targeted the City of Jerusalem and its inhabitants, attempting to artificially alter the spirit, identity and character of the Holy City, focusing on Al-Aqsa Mosque, threatening grave consequences. At the same time, racist and armed gangs of settlers persisted with their crimes against the Palestinian people, the land, mosques, churches, properties and olive trees.

Lies should be countered otherwise there can be no confidence in any peace based on such an outlook.
