Joss Whedon's second chance to direct Wonder Woman

 Joss Whedon was on slated to write a direct a Wonder Woman movie ten years before ten years before the release of the film starring Israeli actress Gal Gadot.  The executives at Warner Brothers would reject his script shelving project and now he is returning to fix the DC Extended Univeerse (DCEU). 

According to Variety, Joss Whedon was brought in as a script doctor then took up completing the Justice League film after Zack Snyder resigned due to a family tragedy. Director Whedon secured a bonus to budget of 25 million dollar for reshoots and these reshoots will include changes to the character of the heroes. While Wedon's original plan for Wonder Woman is lost, we might be getting a second chance to see some of the ideas that he planned to utilize in from version of Wonder Woman. 

Joss Whedon is considered amongst the audience of the science fiction world as one of the most underrated writer directors working in Hollywood.  He became famous when he wrote and directed Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a television series that would throw him into the hybrid world of horror comedy. And he would become a legend when Fox canceled his television masterpiece Firefly after one season. It seems as though his greatest skill is the ability to create a loyal and vocal fan base and go unnoticed with the executives of Hollywood.

That was until he directed The Avengers and the sequel which made him one of the highest grossing directors in Hollywood history. The very ideas that he introduced ten years ago are making a comeback and we are all getting a second chance to glimpse into what a Whedon-comicbook universe looks like.
