Monir runs a Beduin store called "Precious Stones" in the Old City.
He treated me very kindly with a cup of tea and Beduin stories.

“In life it’s good to do your best. It is like we plant a flower, we have to water, look after and sometimes speak to it. If you see the flower is growing in a right way it means you’re doing a good job but if it’s growing in a wrong way you know you have done something wrong and you have to fix it so it’ll become green again.
You know, we, Beduins talk from our hearts… so the next story I share with you is to trust and believe yourself so your roots are growing longer and deeper.”
