Tonight, when we, Jews all over the world but particularly in Israel, sit down at our Seder tables (to have our Passover 'feast'), we'll think about the deal between the US, UK, China, France, Germany and Russia and Iran, a deal orchestrated by Obama. It's ironic, on the night that we read the story of our exodus from slavery in Egypt, a deal is agreed between the P5 + 1 and Iran, a country which continues to call for our destruction.

The world stands to lose, of course, but, in the shorter term, no country, not even Saudi Arabia, has as much to lose as Israel.
If Obama has got this wrong, we cease to exist G-d Forbid.

The arrogance of the P5 + 1 countries, making a deal without the involvement of Israel and Saudi Arabia et al, the countries in Iran's sights, it defies belief! The countries which have the most to lose have not been in on the talks! Obama knows and understands Iran's top brass better than the leaders of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and the UAE do, does he? The US, compared to Israel, has been gambling with nothing on the table, nothing at risk except Obama's reputation and that's what this is all about, Obama wanting to have his Nixon-China moment (it's more like a Chamberlain moment!)...I say that that is what it's all about...not all...I think that Obama has been doing this with his disdain for Bibi at the forefront of his mind.

I disagree with a lot of what Bibi says but re this statement, I wholeheartedly agree with him.

The end of Bibi's chilling statement:

"And finally let me say one more thing.

Iran is a regime that openly calls for Israel's destruction and openly and actively works towards that end.

Just two days ago, in the midst of the negotiations in Lausanne, the commander of the Basij security forces in Iran said this: "The destruction of Israel is non-negotiable."

Well, I want to make clear to all. The survival of Israel is non-negotiable.

Israel will not accept an agreement which allows a country that vows to annihilate us to develop nuclear weapons, period.
In addition, Israel demands that any final agreement with Iran will include a clear and unambiguous Iranian recognition of Israel's right to exist."

I hope, when I sit down tonight with my family, that I will be able to get into the celebratory mood of Pesach (Passover) but in light of the hell which Iran has already unleashed, their continued calls for our destruction, their promises to arm our enemies and envisaging them with nuclear weapons, it won't be easy.

Hag sameach, all.
