Firefighting and rescue teams rescued at least ten people trapped in their vehicles Friday evening following flooding throughout the area due to a winter storm affecting much of Israel's north. The areas affected include downtown areas of Haifa, in addition to neighborhoods located around the Haifa metropolitan area.
