A 17-year-old girl was assaulted and raped overnight Thursday after emerging from a pub in the community of Moledet, in the Upper Galilee, according to a complaint the girl filed with police Friday. The girl told police that she had come out of the pub into the parking lot and was waiting there for her friend to bring his car, when a man grabbed her from behind, pulled her aside and raped her. He then fled the scene. The girl was sent to Ha'emek Hospital in Afula for medical examinations. Police said they were investigating.
