Two border police officers were lightly injured on Friday afternoon, during violent protests in the West Bank.
The officers were injured when Palestinians and left-wing activist taking part in weekly demonstrations against the security barrier began to throw rocks at security forces near the Arab villages of Bil'in and Nil'in.
The troops responded by firing tear gas canisters, according to Army Radio.
