2 teens involved in deadly J'lem crash released from custody

Two teens involved in a deadly car accident in Jerusalem late Tuesday night were released from police custody on Friday morning.

The two were speeding through the capital’s French Hill neighborhood, trying to pass each other, when one hit a motorcyclist.

The victim, a 35-year-old Silwan resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were expected to recommend that charges be pressed against the two for the crash.
